FALL + JORD Cora Koa & Rose Gold Wood Watch
Hello! I hope all is well with everyone!!!
The weather is finally beginning to tapper off from 90 degrees……YIKES! I’m loving all of the fall fashion, but shutter at wearing a sweater in 90 degree weather despite the fact that fall is in full swing. I am loving all of the fall fashion! This is my first blog post in a long while, I don’t have a solid excuse. Claiming blogger block would be a stretch. Over the last year or so my life has been a bit of a rollercoaster, and I needed a pause. Slowly but surely I am making my way back into a more traditional routine. I am nothing without a good routine! My biggest challenge is fatigue, low iron and D3. Caffeine, and Monster Rehab have literally been my best friend. I know, I know Monster rehabs are bad for me. We all have our vices, Monster Rehab is mine, and I NEED IT TO FUNCTION. LOL!
I recently teamed up with JORD to offer y’all an instant percentage off of one of their wood watches, and the potential to win a prize at the end of the giveaway! The contest ends on December 19th so be sure to enter ASAP. Click here to enter!

Jean Skirts + Body Suit
Happy Cinco De Mayo everyone! I hope everyone is having a fantastic Friday. The weather has been so nice this week. Nice weather always brightens my spirit!!!
Anyway- We took these photos the other day and I opted to wear long sleeves. The weather is really nice, but there still seems to be a breeze. I am ALWAYS cold, and the long sleeve body suit added the right amount of warmth! Although I am living for off the shoulder tops! Look for me wearing off the shoulder tops on #repeat this summer!
Have a lovely weekend y’all!
HEY + Spring + Shorts
Hey Ya’ll! I hope everyone is doing well! Dang, I almost forgot my password to login to my blog! I KID! No, but it has been a long while since I have posted. Like everyone in the world, my life has been a little bit hectic. Remember, life isn’t always the way it appears of social media. As I always tell y’all social media isn’t real life! HA! In any event, it is my hope to get back into somewhat of a posting schedule. The summer time is going to be a bit busy, but still I want to get back to my baby, my blog! It’s so crazy how I had a regular posting schedule at one time!
SO N-E-WAY, who is ready for shorts and tanks tops! ME! I am dying over all of the cute trends for Spring and Summer. I found some of the cutest rompers and dresses and cannot wait to share! Wedges are going to be my staple this season. They are easy on the feet. I linked some of my favorites below!
I hope everyone is doing well, and thanks for your continued support!
Hello everyone! I hope everyone is doing well!!! Weather has been crazy in some areas, but still remains unpredictable in Texas. A snow storm in March is rather crazy! The last few weeks have been a roller coaster for me, hence no posts. We do the best we can right? With that roller coaster came two weekends of non-stop rain (boo). When its raining my attire consists of yoga paint,s and a sweatshirt. Beautiful right? Who is ready to transition into full fledge spring clothes. RAISING my hand! This girl has been ready to transition since realizing that we have had no real boot season in Texas.
Soooo, about my look! I have always had a secret love for wide leg “trousers”. Finding wide leg pants “gaucho style” can be a task, but when I find a pair I grab them. They are so comfortable. Off the shoulder tops will remain a staple this spring, and summer. Some of the prices for off the shoulder tops are outrageous! Luckily I have found a few that have been $15-20 or so dollars that I will be sharing. I am also linking some of my favorite sandals for Spring! ALL DETAILS BELOW!
PS. one of my ties on my top came loose! Opps! #bloggingdoesntequalperfection #notatall
Happy Friday! I hope everyone’s day is off the a great start! The weather is Texas has been crazy per usual. I started pulling out some of my clothes from last year in preparation for the Spring season. Being able to wear cooler clothing is awesome, but the heat in Texas can be unbearable in the summertime. Anyway, I grabbed this little romper for less than $25 and added a few that I thought were super cute below. It only takes a few extra minutes of your day to spice up you look! I hope everyone has a great rest of the day and FAB weekend!
Black + Valentines Day Romper
Hi everyone! I hope everyone is doing well, and had a great weekend. The weather was so nice over the weekend and well into the 80’s. My son and I were able to meet up with my best friend for dinner on Saturday who is more like my sister to celebrate my birthday early. It was nice spending time with my best friend. We don’t see each other that often despite being about 45 minutes apart. I haven’t done much of anything as I have been recovering and dealing with my overall health. Getting out with my friends and family felt great, and was a nice change of pace!
I am so thankful for my blog and my readers. My blog gives me a pause in life. When I’m out taking photos with my son its as if all the bad, sad and wrong doesn’t exist. It’s my son sharing his love of photography and me sharing my love of fashion. What’s your outlet? Or hobby? Everyone has to have one, its the best form of therapy. AND its cheaper! Am I right?
Alright! On to this Valentines day business! Who has plans to get out and enjoy this day with loved ones? I have come across so many different looks. LOTS of red. I figured I would don this black romper with a pop of gold from my heels and a red LIP! My red lip was my flirt of red. This romper is everything! Red can be hard to wear so I opted for something neutral that can be worn over and over. I love this little romper because it appears to be a dress but it’s not. SUPER cute! Rompers are the best, but I have learned to not go crazy with all sorts of patterns of flowers. Don’t get me wrong, I love patterns and flowers. But have learned not to over do it.
Thanks for hanging in there with me as I shuffle through this so called life. I am doing my best to post at least once per week. Please know that my blog isn’t simply a collection of pictures, but a collection of love. I care for my readers and people. The absolute best is hearing how my story helped you or how you gained inspo from one of my outfits! That is what gives me the MOST joy!
Keep shining babes!
Lace + OTK Boots

All shopping deets are below the photos.

Moto Jacket + Body Con Dress
Hi everyone! I hope everyone is doing well! The weather was a bit chilly despite my cheesy smile. We took these photos and I literally hauled but back to my car! Shop style is down today so I hyper linked my #ootd below. I hope everyone has an amazing day!
Dress, Here and Here as well, Heels, Moto, Sunnies, Lipstick
Henley + My Favorite Pair of Jeans
Happy Monday! I hope everyone had an amazing weekend and is off to a great Monday! Who loves Mondays? Kidding! The weather was really nice in the San Antonio area. It was well into the 70’s, and one day 80’s. Current events have been so crazy lately. Yesterday there was a shooting at a mall that my son and I frequent, about 10 minutes or less from my house. In many instances I have allowed my son to go to Rolling Oaks Mall with his friend to shop etc. My heart sunk as one of his friends sent him a text message saying that they were physically there at the time of the shooting. I am still horrified. One person was killed, and seven were injured. Two individuals were attempting to rob a jewelry store. I am still in disbelief. Why would someone do such a thing? Public shootings have really become a norm in our country and its VERY scary. My kiddo immediately said he never wanted to go to that mall again. I am so sad that he has to live his life in fear. I didn’t live my child or teen years in fear of mass or public shootings. It’s disheartening. Praying for peace in our country.
Alright! Sorry for the moment of sadness! Finding clothes during this up and down weather has proven to be a task! I REFUSE to bust out shorts. Its not that type of party. Besides the extreme paleness of my legs would SCARE everyone. I appreciate that I can wear sandals in the “colder” months, LOL, so I pulled out my Animal Print Steven Madden Carson’s. Ya’ll, I SEARCHED high, and low and cannot find these anywhere. Steve Madden usually repeats shoes over multiple seasons, and I though for sure these would be repeats! NOPE! Don’t worry, I linked similar! As the season progresses into Spring I will post all of my Spring favorites. White t-shirts are always a staple in my wardrobe…LADIES please don’t allow your bra to show. I’ll leave it there. My jeans are EVERYTHING! Ya’ll grab these! I was able to squeeze these thighs of mine into a size 2, they must run BIG! LOL! I would say they run large. This particular pair of destroyed denim is VERY popular. They had them in like 2 stores in SA. I bought two pair, jeans are not forgiving on me at all! Anywho- Have an AMAZING DAY babes!
Destroyed Denim + Blue Velvet Booties
Hey Ya’ll! I hope all is well with everyone! It’s almost Friday so that is always a good thing right? I want to take a moment to mention a new section of my blog that I will be adding. Having served in the military is one aspect of my life that I am most proud of. My military service was one of the best decisions of my life. I have learned so much being a Veteran navigating through the Department of Veteran Affairs, some good and some horrific. Having a platform is an amazing way to share the good, and the blunders. Believe me when I say there have been tons of blunders. My goal is to have an entire tab with Veteran information. Over the last two years I have experienced what has been an absolute nightmare. I would not want anyone to ever go through what I went through so I am going to write about it, and suggest what I think is important to stay on top of your healthcare as a Veteran. My first suggestion would be to obtain a complete copy of your medical records, and READ THEM! The Department of Veteran Affairs will provide your medical record to you on a CD. Get an electronic copy so that you can print your records and read them at your leisure. The Department of Veteran Affairs does not include consent forms nor certain “addendums” that certain providers write about you in your medical record. How do I know? I scoured my medical record, and found notes that referred to certain addenda, but couldn’t locate the providers addendum. I made a complaint to HHS, as it is Federal Law that the VA has to provide me with a complete copy of my medical record. I have yet to hear back from HHS and they have been investigating this for months. The VA does not want me to have them. But guess what? I am obtaining those addenda’s. They are doing something or hiding something they have no business hiding. If you don’t know some of the abbreviations or medical terminology in your medical record, GOOGLE THEM! Compare the notes in your medical record to make sure they actually match up with what you actually spoke to your provider about. Second, check out your medical providers through State Licensing agencies. Check to make sure they are actually a specialist in the field in which you suspect them to be. The Department of Veteran Affairs does not follow State Laws, and often employee foreign Physicians with non-equivalent medical school and training. Recently it was brought to my attention that a surgeon at the VA in San Antonio Texas was not the specialist in which the Director of the VA in San Antonio certified her to be. This particular surgeon performed less 8 procedures of the same procedure she performed on me. But informed me that she performed this surgery ALL the TIME! She left a VAST amount of damage that cannot be reversed. I trusted the VA, and trusted this agency to employee Doctors who are actually specialist. Despite State Records showing otherwise, the Director of VAMC-SA continued to make public disclosures in reference to this surgeon being a specialist. She has most likely had deaths of patients she has operated on after 30 days. VAMC-San Antonio wouldn’t reveal this information. They wouldn’t reveal this information as I am sure tons of patients have died by the hands of this Physician. This Physician is now FLEEING the country to Japan in the next couple of days, but my worry is when she returns back to the United States!!! SO CRAZY! More to come on this entire story!
N-E-WAY! How is everyone liking the velvet boot trend! I have two pairs, and kinda regret purchasing one of the two pairs. The best thing with any trend is to not over do it! The only trend that can anyone can be safe with is the off the shoulder TREND! That trend seems to be here to stay! I am in love with these BLUE Velvet Booties! Seriously, I would wear them with everything if I could! I hope everyone has an amazing day, and be amazing babes!
